Venue Support Officer – The Ship Inn
Good food, good drinks and good people – what could be better? At ALH, the pubs are a place to escape and feel at home, where stories are made and retold. As a Venue Support Officer you'll play a key role in ensuring every visit is memorable and smooth.
Responsibilities
* Complete all financial reconciliations, including maintaining point‐of‐sale registers
* Maintain data integrity in all ALH systems, ensuring employee and training records are up to date
* Manage stock control, conduct stocktakes and highlight cash and stock variances
* Ensure VISA obligations for team members are met and recorded in ALH systems
* Review venue‐generated reports and provide feedback to key team members
* Assist the Management Team in achieving audit results, compliance and loss prevention targets
Qualifications
* Provide outstanding customer service via phone, email and face‐to‐face interactions
* Understand the importance of privacy and confidentiality with sensitive information
* Maintain the administration area in a well‐organised and professional manner at all times
* Support the venue team with service on the floor during peak times of trade
* Attend and contribute insights in team meetings
