Home Economics Assistant Role
The Home Economics Assistant is an integral part of the teaching team, supporting the teacher in delivering educational programs and ensuring a safe and healthy learning environment for students.
The successful applicant will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. They will be proactive, organized and efficient, with a strong focus on maintaining accurate records and inventory levels.
Key responsibilities include assisting with lesson planning and delivery, preparing and maintaining the learning environment, and overseeing classroom and storeroom resources. The successful applicant will also have the opportunity to develop their skills in health and wellbeing, including assisting with student care and support.
Requirements
* Good oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interact with students, parents and teaching professionals.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
* Ability to maintain accurate records and inventory levels, and provide administrative support as required.
