About the Role

Lendlease Construction is seeking a Contract Administrator to support the delivery of a major project in Adelaide. The role is responsible for the procurement of major trade packages, administration of subcontracts, assessment of variations and claims, as well as managing monthly forecasting, budgeting, and cost reporting, while fostering strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

* Assist with cost and contractual matters to ensure project costs, revenues, claims, variations, and supplier agreements are properly managed.
* Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
* Maintain comprehensive knowledge of head and sub-contracts.
* Assist with procurement of major trade packages.
* Prepare cost forecasts, monitor financial status, and prepare cash flow statements for designated subcontracts.
* Undertake monthly progress claim reporting and present to internal stakeholders.
* Manage project finalisation activities including financial and defects closeout and completion documentation.

Requirements

* Australian citizen at the time of application.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in the construction industry (main contractor, commercial and/or residential projects).
* Experience managing contracts, negotiating terms, ensuring compliance and dealing with subcontractors.
* Understanding of legal and commercial issues surrounding construction contracts.
* Experience involved in procurement and tender processes.
* Financial knowledge to help manage budgets and monitor costs.
