Job Purpose
The primary objective of the Compliance Manager role is to ensure that Award Global's business operations adhere to all regulatory requirements and industry guidelines while fostering a robust risk management framework. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving compliance policies and procedures across all business divisions.
Responsibilities
* Ensure Award Global's business practice is in compliance with all regulatory requirements and industrial guidelines
* Ensure business practices comply with Australian regulatory requirements and industry guidelines.
* Develop, implement, and continuously review compliance policies and procedures for all business divisions.
* Build and enhance robust risk management frameworks to proactively identify and mitigate risks.
* Act as the primary liaison with regulators, external stakeholders, and internal teams on compliance matters.
* Produce and review compliance reports, ensuring transparency and accuracy in documentation.
* Support internal audits and provide strategic insights to senior leadership on compliance risks and improvements.
* Lead, mentor, and develop the compliance team, setting clear performance targets and fostering career growth.
* Drive team engagement through coaching, training, and promoting a culture of accountability and compliance awareness.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed compliance best practices and address business needs.
* Proactively advise stakeholders on compliance-related matters, including structural design and risk mitigation strategies.
* Identify opportunities for process enhancements and drive initiatives to strengthen compliance adherence.
* Deliver targeted training programs to ensure company-wide understanding of regulatory obligations.
Essential (Qualifications)
* Minimum bachelor's degrees in accounting, Finance, Legal or relevant majors
* Minimum 5 years' experience in compliance, quality assurance, risk management, or a related field within Banking/Financial Services.
* Minimum 5 years of leadership background.
* Excellent written and oral English communication skills, especially in handling regulatory and compliance documents in Australia
* Familiar with Australian industrial and regulatory requirements
* Experienced leadership skills, outstanding communication and problem-solving competencies
