Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Consultant is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations between Oracle Cloud applications and third-party systems. This role involves end-to-end integration delivery, API management, troubleshooting, and collaboration with business and technical teams to ensure seamless data flow and process automation Key Responsibilities · Design, develop, and deploy integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS). · Configure and manage APIs, secure data flows, and troubleshoot integration issues. · Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver integration solutions. · Manage Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) resources and related security configurations. · Implement and support inbound/outbound integrations between Oracle Cloud and third-party applications. · Develop and maintain system documentation and architecture diagrams. · Provide technical support for integration releases and production deployments. · Optimize integration performance and ensure high availability and disaster recovery. · Conduct system testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT). · Ensure compliance with IT change control and governance standards Key Knowledge Areas · Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) architecture and components. · Cloud integration patterns and best practices. · API management and security (REST, SOAP, WS security). · Oracle ERP Cloud modules and data structures. · Middleware and integration tools (VBCS, APEX, PCS). · Data mapping, transformation, and orchestration. · Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and database design principles. · File-based data import/export (FBDI, HDL). · CI/CD, SDLC, and IT governance processes. · Business process automation and workflow integration · Hybrid cloud networking and integration strategies. Required Technical Skills · Hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). · Proficiency in developing REST and SOAP web services. · Experience with Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) and Oracle APEX. · Strong skills in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL. · Knowledge of integration adapters (File/FTP, DB, ERP Cloud, REST, SOAP). · Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including IAM and security. · Data transformation using XSLT, JSON, XML, XSD, and WSDL. · Familiarity with BI Publisher, ESS Jobs, and Oracle ORDS. · Troubleshooting integration and performance tuning. · Experience with SDLC, CI/CD tools, and version control Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. · 3–7 years of relevant IT experience, with at least 2 years in Oracle Integration Cloud. · Oracle Integration Cloud certification is preferred. · Experience with full lifecycle Oracle Cloud or ERP integration projects. · Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
