Contract Administrator
We are seeking a skilled Contract Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the administration of contracts, ensuring the smooth operation of our projects.
About the Role
The Contract Administrator will be responsible for providing contract administration services, including:
* Subcontractor management, including conducting initial investigations and monitoring Code compliance
* Drafting scope of works and tender packages for quotations
* Operating and maintaining commercial and contract systems
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Contracts Administrator or Quantity Surveyor role in the construction industry, with a strong understanding of contract law and administration procedures.
Responsibilities
1. Conduct initial investigations into subcontractor claims and variations
2. Monitor Code compliance and recommend progress claims
3. Draft scope of works and tender packages for quotations
4. Operate and maintain commercial and contract systems, including Project Costs Reporting (PCR), Asset Registers, and Commercial Pack database
5. Ensure cost forecasting for allocated subcontracts and cost codes are accurately maintained
Requirements
* Previous experience in a Contracts Administrator or Quantity Surveyor role in the construction industry
* Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Economics, Quantity Surveying, Law, Commerce, or equivalent
* Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite (including Excel) and exposure to contract management system
