The Role This is an exciting position within the Information Services branch. The position reports to the Senior Network Administrator and is based in Windsor NSW. The purpose of this position is to support the branch in maintaining, developing, and securing the corporate IT network with a particular focus on Council's desktop and laptop fleet. This includes planning and implementing hardware replacements, testing and integrating systems, maintaining technical documentation, ensuring secure and reliable network operations, and providing appropriate user access. The role also contributes to IT Planning, supports team members, works with the IT Help Desk, and assists with problem resolution to ensure reliable and modern IT services across the organisation.
About You You demonstrate strong communication skills with the ability to support both technical and non-technical users. You manage time effectively and work well, delivering under pressure. You take ownership of issues, think clearly and analytically, and stay self-motivated while using initiative to meet deadlines.
Tertiary qualifications in Computer Systems or equivalent work experience
Demonstrated technical experience in computer, networking and system configuration using Microsoft operating systems
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot network-related problems using standard tools
Systems integration experience with a diverse range of operating software and disciplines including PC’s for both internal and remote access
Experience in ITSM application administration, system design and integration, cross-team collaboration, and stakeholder communication
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft 365 admin, Intune configuration, endpoint security principles in a hybrid Azure AD environment
Demonstrated ability to document IT standard configurations, processes and procedures at both a technical and end user level
IT administration experience, including leasing, contract monitoring and asset allocation
The right to live and work permanently in Australia
Class C Driver's Licence
WHS General Construction Work in NSW
Working with Children Check (WWCC)
