Job Description
As a seasoned software engineer, you will work on high-performance systems that power our suite of products used by millions. You'll be part of a talented cross-functional team that thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work hands-on with major C and C++ libraries, optimizing memory, performance, and rendering-related components.
* Improve interactions between multiple large codebases across single-server and distributed environments.
* Optional: Contribute to backend development using PHP, Node.js, or similar technologies.
* Build, maintain, and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred; Azure/GCP welcome).
* Optional: Work with Kubernetes, caching layers, queues, and pub/sub systems.
* Use observability tools like Sentry, Datadog, Grafana to ensure systems are reliable and blazing fast.
* Collaborate deeply with product, design, and engineering teams.
* Contribute to architectural decisions and take ownership of complex technical problems.
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong professional experience in C and C++ within large, complex, or performance-sensitive systems.
* Optional but a plus: Experience developing backend systems using PHP or Node.js.
* Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.
* Optional but a plus: Knowledge of Kubernetes, caching, queueing, and pub/sub technologies.
* Familiarity with monitoring & observability tooling.
* Excellent communication skills and strong cross-functional collaboration.
* Interest in growing into future technical leadership roles.
