About the Role
* The Cook will be responsible for preparing nutritious meals and undertaking basic cooking duties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing a variety of hot and cold meals for residents
* Undertaking basic cooking duties, including food preparation and presentation
* Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment
* Working effectively with other staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen
Requirements:
* A strong understanding of safe food hygiene and kitchen safety practices
* A current Police Check or willingness to obtain one
* Valid Australian Work Rights - unfortunately we are not currently able to sponsor
Desirable qualifications include:
* One year's experience as a commercial cook
* Basic computer skills including the ability to use Outlook and Internet Explorer
* Confidence in communicating with supervisors and suppliers
