About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and professional Medical Receptionist to join our friendly team for an IMMEDIATE start. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values exceptional customer service, and enjoys being part of a collaborative practice.
Key Responsibilities
* Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming experience.
* Answer phone calls, manage appointment bookings, and coordinate schedules.
* Process billings, payments, and Medicare claims accurately.
* Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times.
* Support doctors, nurses, and allied health staff with administrative needs.
* Keep the reception area tidy and organized.
About You
* Previous experience as a medical receptionist (preferred but not essential).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
* Computer literacy, experience with medical software Best Practice is an advantage.
