Salary: $86,600 - $147,048 (pending experience - includes Highly Accomplished (HAT) and Lead Teacher (LT) salary scale)

What we are looking for:
Applications are invited for the position of Classroom Teacher (Year 1) to join the staff of St Peter's Catholic Primary School, Rockhampton. This is a part-time contract position to commence 13 July 2026 until 18 January 2026. This role is 15 hours per week / 5 days per fortnight (Monday, Tuesday & alternate Wednesdays).

* Relevant tertiary qualification (or eligible to graduate)
* Evidence of successfully passing the Literacy and Numeracy Test for Initial Teacher Education Students
* Appropriate qualities, knowledge and skills to provide a relevant and holistic education
* Eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
* A desire to serve the communities located within the diocese of Rockhampton
