Civmec are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to drive the successful delivery in our Port Hedland Facility. This is a great opportunity to be apart of a reliable and talented crew delivering critical shutdown and maintenance work in the Pilbara region. The Role
* Various Maintenance Shutdowns and Project works
* Conduct fault finding for breakdowns
* Maintain stock of hydraulic, mechanic, electronic and pneumatic materials
* Assemble metal parts and subassemblies to fabricate production machines and other equipment
* Complete mechanical checklists and weekly inspections of plant and machinery
* Conduct marking and lining out
* Conduct pre-start checks on plant and equipment, hand tools, tooling and equipment prior carrying out the task
* Maintain and keep tools and equipment in a safe area. Lock them away or return to store when not required
* Follow quality control systems and techniques
* Perform other general duties as required
About You
* Australian recognised Trade Certificate
* Blue/Yellow Medipass (desirable)
* Construction White Card
* Work Safely at Heights (within 2 years of issue)
* Enter and Work in Confined Space(within 2 years of issue)
* Gas Test Atmospheres(desirable)
* Ability to pass a pre-employment Medical and regular / random Drug and Alcohol screens
* Additional Tickets will be highly regarded

This role is paid in accordance with the applicable Enterprise Agreement. The hourly rate commences with an all-purpose rate of $42.98 plus applicable penalties for overtime.
