From concept to carton, we partner with clients across retail, FMCG, and e-commerce to deliver packaging that performs. We're growing—and we're looking for a talented Packaging Structural Designer / Estimator to join our collaborative team.
Your Role
This is a hybrid role blending creative design with technical estimating. You'll work closely with clients, suppliers, and our production team to bring packaging ideas to life—on time and on budget. It is worth noting this is not a graphic design role.
Key Responsibilities
* Design custom packaging solutions and structural design software
* Create dielines, mockups, and prototypes for client approval
* Prepare accurate cost estimates and quotes based on various substrates and formats, and production methods
* Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to source materials and confirm pricing and turnaround time
* Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing and quality assurance – Bill of Materials for Works Orders
* Evaluate supplier proofs and maintain quality standards.
* Stay up to date with packaging trends, materials, and sustainability innovations
* Support project timelines and coordinate with internal teams
What You'll Bring
* Experience in packaging design, estimating, or print production
* Proficiency in ArtiosCAD, Adobe Illustrator, or similar design tools
* Strong understanding of packaging materials, print processes, and finishing techniques
* Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
* Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
* Bonus: experience in corrugated, folding carton, or retail display design
* Ideal for a graphic designer to broader their experience into structural packaging however this is not a graphic design position.
