Occupational Therapist Role
This opportunity offers valuable experience across a range of acute settings, rotating every three months through Medical, Surgical and Rehabilitation units.
* The Occupational Therapist Level 1 will independently prioritise referrals, complete timely assessments, and provide recommendations to support safe and effective discharge planning.
* You will contribute actively to multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate closely with colleagues to achieve the best outcomes for patients transitioning back into the community.
This is a small OT department working from a single office. We pride ourselves on a supportive environment, with mentoring, camaraderie and teamwork integral to daily life.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Functional assessments
* Home visits
* Equipment prescription
* Cognitive screening
* Completion of guardianship or NDIS applications when required
