Located at 204 Greenhill Road, Eastwood. Eastwood Private Hospital contains a purposely built peri‐operative suite with six active theatres, an efficient day surgery procedure unit and a 51‐bed ward.
About you
Successful candidates will possess a wide range of clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting, ideally with a coordinator/manager or similar type level of responsibility (level 2 or above). They should be resourceful and self‐directed, make quick decisions, and be able to fulfil a wide range of duties including hospital administration management and clinical care for our patients. Excellent organisational skills to facilitate patient safety after hours are required.
About the role
Department handovers are provided by both Unit Managers of Peri‐operative and Ward to provide a continuation of responsibility and coordination across the hospital. This position is a hands‐on, broad leadership and highly visible role with a commitment to building strong relationships across the facility. The role includes clinical support as required and responsibility for the continuation of administration duties after hours. It will involve rostered shifts after hours, including late, night and early shifts, weekends and public holidays to meet operational requirements.
Key requirements
* Current Registration with AHPRA
* Effective human resource management
* Experience and understanding of the financial management of an area budget and KPIs
* Current ALS1 or 2 Accreditation
* Understanding of the NSQHS standards and infection prevention & control measures
