Centre Director – Busy Bees at Wellard Location: 2 Charing Cross, Wellard, WA **** Licensed Capacity: 104 children Hourly Rate: $***** – $***** (WT Level 6A.1 – 6A.9) About the Role Busy Bees at Wellard is seeking an experienced and inspiring Centre Director to lead our passionate team and ensure excellence in early learning outcomes.
As the Centre Director, you will be responsible for: Overseeing daily operations and ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Busy Bees policies.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with families, educators, and the local community.
Leading a team of educators through mentorship, guidance, and performance development.
Managing staffing, rostering, and budget allocations in collaboration with Area Managers.
Driving continuous improvement to maintain a high standard of education and care.
Creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all children and staff.
What You'll Need Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA-approved).
Minimum 2 years' experience in a leadership role within the Early Childhood Education and Care sector.
Comprehensive knowledge of NQF, NQS, EYLF, and centre compliance.
Current Working with Children Check (Employee) – WA requirement.
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications.
Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
