"An excellent once in a lifetime opportunity" exists for an exceptional Master Jeweller / Metal Fitter to join our Darwin Jewellery Workshop team.
The role offers a unique opportunity to experience the vibrant tropical climate of Darwin and work with the best quality of pearls. You will be surrounded by a supportive and friendly team of experienced jewellers. Our workshop is undergoing a state-of-the-art transformation, providing an aesthetically pleasing work environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Handcraft and assemble high-end jewellery pieces. Working with different types of metals – precious and non-precious, to make master pattens and specific tools
* Construction of moving parts, mechanical parts, clasps
* CAD, CAM
* Perform meticulous repairs and restorations on Paspaley brand (luxury) jewellery items
* Contribute to the continuous improvement in workshop techniques and innovation
* Preparing pearls for setting into jewellery, training will be provided
Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum 5 years' experience in luxury jewellery manufacturing or high-end bench work
* Formal training or certificate
* Experience in a luxury brand environment is highly desirable
The successful candidate will have exceptional attention to detail and precision, be able to work collaboratively in a team of master craftspeople and have a passion for luxury craftsmanship and innovation.
