An established and highly regarded independent school in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs is seeking an experienced Junior School Receptionist with First Aid responsibilities to support its Junior School and Early Learning Centre. Location Melbourne Eastern Suburbs (with onsite parking) Temporary Opportunity - start date 27/05 until 18/06 Hourly rate: $40/hr super About the role: This is a people focused role suited to someone who enjoys being the first point of contact for families, staff and students, and who brings a calm, organised approach to a busy school environment. Reporting to the Heads of Junior School, you will provide front of house reception support, general administration and coordinate First Aid services for students. You will play a key role in supporting student wellbeing and ensuring smooth day to day operations within the Junior School. Key responsibilities: Manage the Junior School reception and respond to enquiries from parents, students and staff Provide high quality customer service aligned to the school’s values Coordinate and administer First Aid for Junior School students Maintain First Aid records and supplies Manage student absences and visitor sign in processes Provide general administrative support to Junior School leadership Support daily school operations including phone calls, emails and record management About you Proven experience in a receptionist or school administration role Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work calmly and effectively in a child focused environment Highly organised with strong attention to detail Confident using Microsoft Office and school database systems Level 2 First Aid Certificate required, Level 3 preferred Current Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain Interested?
