About the role
We are currently seeking a Testing Technician to perform core testing activities within the Testing team. Adhering to Good Manufacturing and Laboratory Practice, you will perform routine screening tests within agreed timeframes and defined procedures to aid in the sufficient and safe provision of blood, plasma and biological products. With safety and quality at the forefront, you will escalate anomalies to ensure regulatory requirements are met and product safety is maintained.
Responsibilities
Perform routine laboratory screening tests and maintain laboratory equipment, following defined procedures and timeframes.
Escalate any anomalies and maintain product safety through adherence to GxP and lab best practices.
Qualifications
* Experience performing routine and repetitive tasks in a laboratory.
* Ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
* A standout team player who works well in a team environment to achieve shared goals.
* Experience in a scientific laboratory is advantageous but not essential.
* Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend and twist to operate different platforms.
Shift Details
* Variable shifts across a rostering roster – Monday to Sunday.
* Shift timings: Monday-Saturday 5:00 AM to midnight; Sunday 5:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
