Why Your Role Matters
The Systems Administrator plays a key role in supporting the enterprise systems that underpin education delivery and employability outcomes across the University. Working within the Enterprise Systems and Planning team in the Pro Vice-Chancellor Education & Student Experience Portfolio, you will provide technical and operational support to ensure the student placement system is reliable, data is accurate, and users are well supported.
Responsibilities
* Provide technical and system support, including troubleshooting user issues.
* Configure systems based on business requirements from multiple stakeholders.
* Support and monitor data migrations from systems (e.g. Moodle).
* Provide specialist advice on placement management system processes and guidelines.
* Respond to enquiries and resolve or escalating issues as required.
* Maintain documentation, improve administrative processes, and support operational activities and projects.
About you
* Detail-oriented professional enjoying problem solving, working with enterprise systems, and supporting stakeholders in a collaborative, service-focused environment.
* Previous experience with supporting the day-to-day operation of enterprise systems, preferably university student placement systems (InPlace or Sonia).
* Experience with systems including troubleshooting, configuration changes, etc.
* Previous experience or exposure to Work Integrated Learning processes and function would be highly advantageous.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
* The ability to work effectively as part of a team in a customer-focused environment.
We currently have two roles available: one Full Time permanent and one Full Time Fixed Term parental leave role until May 2027 with hybrid and flexible working arrangements, Monday to Friday. Please note, this role is not eligible for sponsorship.
