Job Description
The Snowy 2.0 project is a pioneering initiative that brings together the collective engineering expertise of various entities. This ambitious undertaking aims to design and construct one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world, situated within the breathtaking Snowy Mountains in NSW.
The Environmental testing technician will play a pivotal role in supporting this project by coordinating and performing environmental materials testing on soils, rock, and water. They will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests, recording and/or reporting data, operating under quality management systems, and liaising with subcontractors.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in science or a related field (preferred)
* White Card (Construction Card)
* Experience testing in a chemistry or environmental science laboratory
* Experience working in a similar role – preferably in the construction industry
