Overview
Our client is a leader in their sector and has developed technology, an all-in-one construction management platform designed for builders and trades. With their HQ in Adelaide, they currently serve customers across Australia and New Zealand. They are seeking a Account Manager - Growth & Retention to support their international expansion plans.
In this newly created position, you will acquire new clients and ensure their long-term satisfaction with the platform. Your primary responsibilities will be driving sales through superior customer service, onboarding, and ongoing engagement with clients.
This role is ideal for a results-driven individual who is passionate about technology, construction, and customer success. You will bring proven experience in construction and sales or account management within a SaaS or tech-driven environment, paired with the ability to clearly articulate software benefits and confidently convert leads into long-term customers.
Day-to-day, you will demonstrate a client-first approach with your focus on:
Responsibilities
* Managing the onboarding process for new users to ensure a seamless transition and early adoption of key features.
* Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to enhance retention and reduce turnover.
* Providing exceptional customer service as the primary contact point for enquiries, concerns, and feedback.
* Conducting regular check-ins and training sessions to help clients maximise the value of the platform.
* Tracking and analysing user engagement data to identify opportunities for growth and improved service.
* Developing and executing account management strategies that align with the company's sales goals.
* Travel interstate and regional as required to ensure an exceptional user experience for all clients.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in construction and sales or account management within a SaaS or tech-driven environment, with the ability to clearly articulate software benefits and confidently convert leads into long-term customers.
* Comfort with onboarding, training, and ongoing client engagement to drive retention and growth.
* Willingness to travel interstate and regional as required.
