A leading Australian-owned engineering consultancy is searching for an experienced and driven Senior Civil Engineer to spearhead the delivery of landmark transport, land development, and precinct projects across North Sydney, NSW.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity based in North Sydney, with the flexibility to balance work and life while contributing to projects of real impact.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Associate Director – Civil, this role will see you:
* Planning, managing, and delivering engineering projects of a complex nature across multiple sectors
* Producing and reviewing innovative civil designs, including roads, subdivisions, stormwater, earthworks, sewer/water reticulation, and pavements
* Managing project outcomes around quality, cost, and schedules to exceed client expectations
* Collaborating with project managers, architects, and consultants to deliver integrated solutions
* Providing technical leadership and mentoring to engineers and technicians
* Overseeing contract management and ensuring compliance with industry standards
What You'll Bring
* Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (CPEng and RPEQ desirable)
* 6–10+ years' demonstrated experience in civil design and project management
* Proven ability to manage small to medium civil projects (Residential, Commercial, Industrial, and Government)
* Strong technical knowledge of construction methods and their impact on design
* Proven experience in writing tenders and proposals
* Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and reviewing the work of others
* Excellent communication skills and a proactive, collaborative approach
