Role Overview
We are seeking an International Technical Sales Support professional to join a high performing team based in Melbourne. This role is perfect for someone with a technical background who is looking to transition into sales, combining customer service, and inside sales responsibilities. You will work closely with the APAC Sales Manager, and account management team, supporting approximately 100 domestic and international customers.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Technical Data Sheets and prepare custom quotations for customers
Provide pricing updates to existing customers in a timely manner
Maintain and update forecasts to ensure smooth supply and delivery
Act as a key point of contact, liaising regularly with technical experts and marketing colleagues to support customer needs
Support customer orders and processes using SAP, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
Learn and manage logistics requirements for domestic and international shipments
Assist in identifying and developing relationships with new customers
Skills & Attributes
Technical background/Bachelor's degree (e.g., chemistry, pigments, plastics, coatings) with problem-solving skills
Strong customer service/sales focus with a team-oriented approach
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
Self-motivated and able to manage a variety of tasks and priorities
Experienced with SAP or ERP systems and Microsoft Excel, quick to learn new tools
Comfortable with regular customer contact across the Asia Pacific region
