Role Overview
Operating within Data Excellence, the Data Governance Product Lead will play a key role in the enhancement, maintenance and adoption of ACU's data governance framework to ensure institutional data is well managed, trusted, secure and used effectively to support teaching, learning, research and operational decision making. The role focuses on developing, implementing and embedding data governance policies, standards, processes and controls across the university whilst working closely with the Data Excellence team, business leaders and technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
* Enhance, maintain and promote adoption of ACU's data governance framework.
* Develop, implement and embed data governance policies, standards, processes and controls across the university.
* Support and manage data governance tools and technologies that underpin the university data management and governance operating model.
* Assist with configuration, maintenance and adoption of data governance platforms to support metadata management, data quality, data classification, data lineage, data loss prevention, sensitivity labeling and policy enforcement.
* Collaborate closely with Data Excellence team members, business leaders and technical stakeholders.
Benefits & Compensation
* Total remuneration valued to $138,111 - $154,409 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $116,706 - $130,478 (pro rata) pa (HEW 8), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
* 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
* Annual leave loading equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on commencement date.
