Latrobe Regional Health is seeking Consultant Psychiatrists to join its expanding Mental Health Program on either a full‐time (1.0 EFT) or part‐time fixed‐term basis.

The Opportunity: As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will provide high‐quality specialist psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment across the Mental Health Program while contributing to the ongoing development of innovative and patient‐centred services.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver comprehensive psychiatric assessment and treatment for consumers with complex mental health needs
* Provide evidence‐based, recovery‐oriented care across inpatient and community settings
* Support family‐inclusive and culturally sensitive models of care
* Provide primary and secondary consultations to clinicians, GPs, and community services
* Contribute to prevention, early intervention, and mental health reform initiatives
* Supervise and mentor junior medical staff, psychiatry trainees, and medical students
* Support multidisciplinary team development and education
* Participate in clinical governance, service improvement, quality and safety initiatives
* Contribute to service planning, policy development, and strategic growth
