What You'll Be Doing
As a Drug and Alcohol Collector, you'll conduct on-site testing to help workplaces maintain safety and compliance. You'll collect urine, saliva, or breath specimens professionally and confidentially, travel to various sites, and follow strict procedures to ensure sample integrity and accurate reporting. You'll also be responsible for completing documentation electronically and maintaining detailed records. Because DASA operates 24/7, you must be willing to work across a range of hours—including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
What You'll Need
· HLTPAT005 (or equivalent) qualification (or willingness to obtain)
· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Positive attitude and professional presentation
· Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
· Reliable phone and internet access
· Ability to work independently and to be rostered on-call (in some metro areas only)
· Willingness to use electronic documentation and record keeping systems
