Turning The Recruitment Game Upside Down and Inside Out
* Lead a team that turns why not? into reality
* Forget normal, they do care differently
* Change lives with innovation, quality and true 1:1 support
At 4u Care, nothing they do is “normal.” And that is exactly the point!
They have taken participants to Mardi Gras, flown them to Tasmania, built social hubs and created calendars full of experiences that connect, inspire and delight. Today, that philosophy drives a team of 200 support workers and 30 admin staff who deliver 4,000 hours of care a week to 180 participants across 20 homes, but they are only getting started. The next chapter is about expanding services, diversifying into new areas and building in new regions.
The goal is clear. By 2027 they want to positively impact 1,000 lives, including participants, employees and communities.
This is where you step in
As the first General Manager, the task is to keep the heartbeat of 4u Care strong every day while preparing for what comes next. 7 business units covering community, accommodation, aged care, workforce, business development, finance and people and governance will come together under your leadership to operate as one team.
Managers will look to you for clarity and confidence, but your role is to help them find the answers themselves. You will guide, coach and challenge, with empathy at the core. Decisions are made with participants in mind and the 4Rs, right person, right place, right time, right idea, will become a daily practice rather than words on a wall. At the same time, you will be building for the future, shaping new services, leading expansion into regional NSW and defining what it means to be part of 4u Care in the years ahead.
