Opportunity: A well-established mobile dental service operating across nursing homes and aged care facilities in the Wollongong region is looking for a dentist to join their small, dedicated team on a permanent one day per week basis. This is not your typical dental role. Patients are seen in their rooms at aged care facilities, seated in wheelchairs, chairs or on their beds. The work is largely preventative, though there is scope for extractions and restorative treatment for clinicians comfortable providing them. The team is led by an experienced oral health therapist and supported by a dental technician. At 55% billings, the remuneration is well above what most associate roles offer. The dentist travels independently by car to each facility. No bus driving required and all portable equipment is set up on arrival. About You: You hold current AHPRA registration as a Dentist and have at least one to two years of clinical experience. You are patient, empathetic and comfortable working with elderly patients who may have limited compliance or complex medical histories.
