Electrical Estimator
As our new Electrical Estimator, you'll play a key role in the growth and success of our Asset Services division.
Responsibilities
* Preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for Electrical projects and maintenance contracts.
* Coordinating and organising complex tender submissions.
* Identifying and managing risks and opportunities throughout the estimating and submission process.
* Interpreting mechanical plans and specifications and performing detailed take‐offs.
* Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure competitive pricing.
* Actively seeking and pursuing growth opportunities by developing strong relationships with customers and industry partners.
About You
* Experience in Electrical estimating (maintenance, construction, or building services).
* Strong knowledge of AS3000 / 3008.
* Solid knowledge of Electrical systems, materials, and installation practices.
* Proven ability to prepare quotations for projects of all sizes and collaborate across multiple service lines.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills to work effectively with clients, suppliers, and colleagues.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and estimating software (or excellent general computer skills).
* Exceptional time management and organisational abilities to manage competing tenders and deadlines.
