Senior Manager, Workplace Property & Travel

Your New Role

Reporting to the Head of Financial Control, the Senior Manager, Workplace Property & Travel provides strategic leadership for the Fund's workplace property portfolio, accommodation strategy and global travel management. The role has accountability for engaging and managing key property managers, landlords and other high‐profile external stakeholders across a complex, multi‐site environment.

This role balances strong commercial and property leadership with oversight of workplace operations and travel, ensuring AustralianSuper's workplaces are safe, compliant, cost‐effective and aligned to colleague and Fund needs.

Key Duties

* Providing strategic leadership for the Fund's global workplace property portfolio, accommodation strategy and workplace standards.
* Engaging, managing and influencing key property managers, landlords and high‐profile external stakeholders across all locations.
* Managing the global portfolio of leases and subleases, including negotiations, landlord and tenant obligations.
* Managing complex property contracts and third‐party supplier relationships, ensuring performance, risk and governance expectations are met.
* Overseeing facilities management, workplace asset management and office capital works including relocations and fit‐outs.
* Leading global travel management, ensuring effective governance, cost control, risk management and compliance.
* Building strong internal stakeholder relationships and providing data, insights and reporting to support evidence‐based decision making.
* Supporting WH&S obligations, including emergency response, incident management and business continuity planning.

What You'll Need

* Extensive senior‐level experience in workplace operations, property and facilities management within a complex organisation.
* Strong knowledge of commercial property leasing, vendor management and contract governance.
* Experience with P&Ls, financial models, budgets and BI tools.
* Demonstrated experience leading large, multi‐disciplinary teams and external service providers.
* Proven ability to manage major capital works, workplace projects and competing priorities.
* Experience overseeing travel management with a focus on governance, risk and compliance.
* Highly developed leadership, stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
