We're partnering with a highly regarded, growth-focused organisation operating in a complex and highly regulated environment to recruit a Risk & Compliance Officer based in Sydney.
This is a highly visible role working closely with senior executives, legal leadership and key stakeholders across the business to strengthen enterprise risk, governance and compliance practices while supporting strategic growth and change.
This role sits at the intersection of risk, governance, compliance and business partnering — where success comes from strong relationships, clear thinking and the ability to turn risk into practical action.
What you will be doing
* Supporting the Enterprise Risk Management Framework and governance processes
* Maintaining risk and compliance registers, including actions and remediation tracking
* Coordinating executive and board-level risk and compliance reporting
* Supporting governance forums, committees and reporting cycles
* Partnering with stakeholders to provide practical risk and compliance advice
* Contributing to audits, risk assessments and business improvement initiatives
What we're looking for
You may come from a background in:
* Compliance
* Governance
* Internal Audit
What you will bring
* Experience in risk, compliance or governance within a regulated environment
* Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship‐building capability
* Clear and concise communication skills, including reporting to senior leaders
* A pragmatic, solutions‐focused approach to risk
* Confidence working independently while partnering across the business
