Job Description
Summary
Conducting client assessments, performing various massage techniques to alleviate pain or promote relaxation, maintaining detailed client records, and ensuring a sanitized and welcoming environment. Responsible for understanding client needs, applying appropriate pressure, and adhering to safety and licensing regulations.
Responsibilities
* Client Consultation & Assessment: Interviewing clients to gather medical history, symptoms, and treatment goals.
* Treatment Delivery: Applying techniques – especially Traditional Thai Massage, deep‐tissue, sports, or prenatal massage to manipulate soft tissues and joints.
* Customization: Tailoring sessions to specific client needs, adjusting pressure and techniques based on feedback.
* Documentation: Creating and maintaining accurate, confidential client records.
* Hygiene & Safety: Cleaning, sanitizing, and organizing treatment rooms and equipment between sessions.
* Education: Advising clients on stretching, strengthening, and posture to support long-term wellness.
* Retail/Upselling: Recommending retail products or future, specialized services.
* Professionalism: Maintaining licenses, adhering to ethical standards, and continuing professional education.
Physical & Technical Requirements
* Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive manual movements.
* Manual Dexterity: Strong hands‐on skills to apply pressure using fingers, hands, forearms, and elbows.
* Clinical Knowledge: Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and contraindications to ensure safe treatment.
Administrative Duties
* Scheduling: Managing appointments and client flow.
* Inventory: Tracking and restocking supplies.
* Collaboration: Working with team members, centre manager, or medical professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
