Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Senior Group Financial Accountant will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, ensuring compliance, supporting business performance and driving continuous improvement across finance systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead month‐end and year‐end reporting processes, ensuring the timely preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
* Manage general ledger activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, fixed assets, and balance sheet integrity.
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities, providing insights to assist commercial decision‐making.
* Prepare and coordinate taxation and compliance requirements, including BAS, FBT, Payroll Tax, Superannuation, and external audit activities.
* Partner with stakeholders across the business to understand performance drivers, identify opportunities, and support key business initiatives.
* Drive continuous improvement by enhancing financial systems, controls, reporting processes and overall finance capability.
What we're looking for
* CA or CPA qualified with tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
* Demonstrated experience in a Senior Financial Accountant or similar role within a complex or growing organisation.
* Strong technical accounting knowledge, including Australian Accounting Standards, taxation obligations and financial compliance requirements.
* Advanced Excel and financial systems capability, with the ability to analyse and interpret complex financial information.
* Proven ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the business.
* A proactive and commercially minded approach, with strong attention to detail and a passion for continuous improvement.
