About the role
Reporting to the Terminal Manager, the position is responsible for the effective and safe delivery of LPG to domestic and commercial customers.
The main activities are road tanker filling and discharging, tanker hoseman and exchange cylinder filling and deliveries as required.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate the LPG Tanker and Cylinder Truck in accordance with statutory requirements and the HSE and procedural policies and procedures of Origin Energy.
* Road tanker filling and discharging
* Reporting Customer compliance
* LPG storage
* LPG transfers
* Cylinder delivering and filling
* Safe operation of a dangerous goods vehicle
* Work Monday to Friday with possibility of overtime and weekend work
Qualifications
* National Heavy Vehicle Drivers Licence – Heavy Rigid (HR).
* Dangerous Goods Licence – Class 2 Flammable Gases.
* A minimum of three years truck driving experience in the fuel or gas industry.
* Experience handling hazardous substances, especially hydrocarbon products.
* Inspections and preventative maintenance of heavy vehicles.
* Basic computer/tablet knowledge.
