Position Description

About the Role
* Contribute to excellence in teaching and learning across topics in the College of Health and Enablement, specifically focusing on Digital Health.
* Make an independent contribution to teaching and the scholarship of teaching using innovations in practices and technologies to deliver excellence in teaching.
* Participate in the planning and evaluation of these topics.
* Undertake the role of Topic Coordinator as required.
About You
* Experienced and reflective tertiary educator with a strong commitment to teaching excellence, student success, and professional practice.
* Current membership with a relevant professional association and substantial experience in higher education teaching environments.
* Demonstrated success in the design, delivery, and evaluation of innovative teaching and learning strategies, including contemporary approaches to student assessment that enhance engagement and learning outcomes.
* Practice informed by reflection, continuous improvement, and a clear understanding of the relationship between teaching, research, scholarship, and professional practice.
* Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills and ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, students, and industry stakeholders.
* Thrives in collaborative environments and contributes positively to academic communities through professionalism, initiative, and a student-centred approach.
* Completed a PhD, EdD, or equivalent qualification in a digital health related field.
Prescribed Conditions for Employment
* A current Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check which is satisfactory to the University will be required before commencement.
* Each case will be assessed on individual merits and relevance to the inherent requirements of the role.
* Staff working in a health care setting are recommended to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in line with SA Health policy.
