Overview
The Staff Specialist in Drug Health Services will provide high quality diagnostic and consultative specialty services, participate in teaching, research, quality improvement, and administrative activities within the Drug Health Services Department and hospital.
Responsibilities
* Deliver specialist clinical services in drug health and addiction medicine.
* Participate in teaching and mentorship of trainees.
* Engage in research and quality improvement initiatives.
* Perform administrative duties within the Department as required.
Qualifications
* Medical practitioner, currently registered or eligible for registration with AHPRA.
* Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) with recognised qualifications in Addiction Medicine or equivalent specialist recognition as per NSW Staff Specialists (State) Award.
* Applicants expected to be awarded their Fellowship within two months from application date may be considered.
