Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated Youth Worker to join our team in Wagga Wagga. The successful candidate will have experience working with children and young people, particularly those from Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander backgrounds.
Main Responsibilities:
* Supervise and support children and young people in placement
* Promote positive outcomes and cultural safety
* Engage with extended family and local community
* Maintain a healthy living environment and promote healthy routines
* Complete mandatory reporting and daily agency reporting
Requirements:
* Current NSW Working with Children Check for paid employment
* Current National Criminal History Check Certificate
* First Aid Certificate, preferred but not essential
* A valid driver's licence
* Roadworthy and comprehensively insured vehicle
