Downer has been awarded a major Integrated Facilities Management contract with Stockland, delivering services across a national portfolio of commercial offices, retail centres, logistics facilities and land lease communities. Commencing in August 2026, we have an opportunity for Security Guards to support properties across Stockland's national portfolio. Roster flexibility is required, including availability to work rotating shifts.
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will help deliver high‐quality outcomes for our client and communities.
What you'll do
* Monitor premises and conduct regular patrols to ensure safety and security.
* Control site access and manage visitors, contractors, and deliveries.
* Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a timely and professional manner.
* Provide general assistance and maintain a visible, approachable presence.
* Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance issues.
* Maintain accurate records, follow procedures, and liaise with relevant services when required.
What you'll bring
* Certificate II (mandatory) or Certificate III in Security (desirable).
* Current First Aid Certificate with CPR (mandatory).
* Working with Children's Check (mandatory).
* Experience monitoring CCTV, alarms, and access control systems.
* Ability to respond calmly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, and concerns.
* Strong communication, conflict resolution, and report‐writing skills.
* Ability to work independently and in a team, with a good understanding of safety procedures.
* Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to delivering high‐quality outcomes.
