We are seeking a Service Person Driver to join our team.
About the Role
The Service Person Driver is the key link between our customers, their projects, and our branches. As this role, you will be responsible for making your customers' jobs easy by providing expert advice, pickups, deliveries, and ensuring our equipment is always ready for hire.
Main Responsibilities:
* Instruct and demonstrate how to safely use our equipment to customers.
* As the Driver, perform pickup and delivery of equipment from customer sites, which includes safely loading and unloading of equipment.
* Provide exceptional customer service in all interactions.
* Maintain the high standard and quality of equipment through regular servicing and minor repairs.
* Clean branch facilities and maintain equipment as needed.
* Perform equipment 'check in' and 'check out' inspections.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:
* A valid driver's licence.
* The availability to work half-day Saturdays on a rotating roster.
* A level of physical fitness, required for lifting and standing on your feet for long periods.
* The ability to pass a drug test.
* Be proactive and keen to learn new skills.
* An interest in machinery and equipment, although training will be provided.
* A positive attitude and team player.
