Faculty Leadership Role: Senior English Faculty Coordinator (2 years)
Substantive Position: Senior English Teacher | Full-Time, Ongoing
Commencing: January 2026
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior English Faculty Coordinator to lead and inspire teaching and learning within our English faculty. This two-year position of responsibility offers an exciting opportunity to shape curriculum, mentor colleagues, and contribute to the ongoing success of our students in English.
This appointment is offered as a two-year faculty leadership role, with the underlying substantive position of Senior English Teacher (full-time and ongoing).
Key Responsibilities
* Provide leadership and coordination of the English faculty, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning outcomes.
* Support the development and implementation of innovative and engaging English curriculum programs across senior year levels.
* Mentor and support faculty members in professional growth, pedagogy, and assessment practices.
* Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
* Contribute actively to the wider academic and co-curricular life of the College.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
* A proven record of excellence in teaching English, particularly at the senior secondary level (VCE or equivalent).
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and develop colleagues.
* A commitment to innovative, student-centred learning.
* Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Willingness to contribute to the broader life and values of the College community.
