About the Opportunity
Are you a self‐driven HR Professional with a passion for culture, wellbeing, and continuous improvement? Do you love managing diverse projects, solving problems with a smile, and helping shape a workplace where people genuinely want to be?
As our new HR & Project Coordinator, you'll be the heartbeat of our people and culture initiatives. You'll work across the employee lifecycle to:
* Design, support and deliver programs that support inclusion, wellbeing, learning and development, and employee benefits.
* Champion a "can‐do" attitude across our sites, helping leaders navigate HR challenges with empathy and flexibility.
* Support strategic projects like a new payroll and HR system, enterprise bargaining, and our Reconciliation Action Plan.
* Be the go‐to expert for key platforms like Seek, LinkedIn, pre‐employment medicals, Fitness Passport, psychometric testing, Employee Assistance Program, Safety Incident Reporting System, and our Learning Management System (Kineo).
* Coordinate recognition programs and study support, making sure our people feel valued and empowered.
* Keep us compliant with policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
* Collaborate across services to bring HR magic to broader organisational projects.
Essential Skills for Success
We are looking for a proactive and collaborative HR professional with strong analytical, project and stakeholder engagement skills, capable of supporting strategic initiatives, improving systems and processes and enhancing employee experience across the organisation. You will ideally bring:
* Proven experience in developing and delivering practical operational HR solutions.
* Proven recent HR Generalist experience in a fast‐paced and complex environment.
* Demonstrated personal qualities conducive to team‐oriented work where initiative, flexibility and personal organisation are required.
* Ability to self‐manage workload, priorities and deadlines.
* Proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing solutions.
* High level of initiative in progressing tasks independently.
* Expertise in the provision of timely, accurate advice with the ability to convey compliance of HR policies, systems, procedures and tools.
* Attention to detail with proven high level of written and oral communication and time management skills with the ability to work professionally and effectively.
* Ability to maintain discretion and integrity when dealing with confidential personnel and human resources matters.
* Minimum diploma level qualification in Human Resources Management or related.
Desirable but not essential
* Membership with AHRI or similar professional body
* Experience working with Registered Training Organisations
