We are seeking a dedicated and skilled medical professional to fill the role of Resident Medical Officer. This is an excellent opportunity for junior doctors interested in pursuing a career in rural practice.
The position involves working across various departments, including General Medicine, Emergency Department, Anaesthetics, Intensive Care, Palliative Care, Rehabilitation Services, Oncology, General Practice, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, General Surgery and Urology. The successful applicant will be expected to participate in relief/nights on an equitable basis, including relief at Wingham Community Hospital.
To be considered for this role, applicants must have a strong commitment to rural practice and communities, as well as a minimum of 12 months experience within the Australian Public Hospital System within the last 12 months.

* Ability to work independently in a supervised environment
* Effective teamwork and communication skills, with a strong understanding of the roles of healthcare professionals in a rural setting
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as defined by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environment
* Commitment to quality improvement, patient safety and risk management
