HammondCare Cardiff is currently looking for a Part‐time Specialised Carer – Residential Carers to join our team. This role focuses on providing tailored care including personal support within the residential home, with the resident's needs as the priority.
Responsibilities
* Provide personal care such as showering, grooming, toileting and other hygiene supports.
* Engage residents in life enrichment activities.
* Support residents with different levels of dementia.
* Recognise, report and respond to changes in the condition of residents within your skills and competencies.
Qualifications
* Genuine passion for serving elderly people.
* Committed to working Monday to Friday with no weekend shifts.
* Flexible, able to commit to a range of shifts including nights.
* Strong teamwork orientation while also capable of working independently and showing initiative.
* Knowledge and experience with people living with dementia.
* Certification at Cert III or Cert IV in Aged Care is favourable.
