About the role

Trainee Plant Operator
at our

In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our plant to meet production and distribution goals, all while upholding the highest standards of safety and environmental responsibility.

What you will be doing
Manufacturing of ANFO and Gasser products to be delivered to customers and Orica Depots to meet demand schedule.
Ensure the manufacturing plant and delivery vehicles are maintained according to schedule.
Accurate provision of delivery dockets to customers.
Perform Quality Checks testing on incoming raw materials and products being dispatched to customers.
Maintaining vehicles in clean and presentable condition.
Ensure raw materials are ordered promptly and received, stored, and handled correctly.
Ensure the timely calibration of manufacturing equipment and MMUs.
Attend daily prestart and toolbox meetings.
What you will bring
2+ years' experience in a dangerous goods/bulk explosives/heavy industry/process plant environment is preferred but not essential.
Skills: Basic autoelectrics, Basic hydraulics, Quality Systems, and basis of safety.
Possess an unquestioned reputation for integrity, ethics, personal values, and solid character.
Model resilience and flexibility; adapt well to new circumstances and adversity.
Good understanding and focus on customer and business promise deliverables.
Work well as part of a team and be self-driven to work alone.
Heavy Rigid & forklift licence preferred.
