About Us
We are Zambrero, Australia's largest Mexican franchise offering healthy, fresh food while fighting world hunger. We are a quick‐service restaurant that offers tasty burritos, bowls, nachos, and tacos filled with homemade guac and other goodies. For you, that means you will always work with fresh ingredients that won't leave you smelling like you just came from work. Our restaurants are open day and night so you can be flexible and keep up your work, school and play. We also donate one meal to someone in need for every bowl or burrito bought at Zambrero through our Plate 4 Plate initiative.
What you'll do
* Lead the restaurant team in efficient day‐to‐day operations
* Act as a role model for the standards and behaviours consistent with Zambrero values and culture
* Assist in training, developing, and driving the team to deliver positive and memorable customer experiences
* Assist with hiring new team members and onboarding them
* Assist in managing the team, including staff performance reviews and rostering
* Ensure food is prepared, presented, and served to the highest standard
* Assist with ordering stock from various suppliers
* Assist with office administration duties such as paperwork, banking, cash handling, payroll and reviewing policies
* Manage daily and weekly cleaning of production areas, dining room and general restaurant
* Assist with executing marketing promotions
* Ensure safety and security standards are recognised and upheld, and that employees are effectively trained in Workplace Health and Safety
What you'll bring
* Previous shift supervisor experience
* Passionate about our humanitarian values and ready to make a difference

* Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively to both customers and colleagues
* Ability to maintain a professional, well‐groomed and neat appearance at all times
* Ability to multi‐task and adapt to changing customer levels as required
* Ability to adapt and succeed in a fast‐paced environment
