Job Description
Join the marketing team at a luxury Sofitel hotel as our next Marketing Coordinator. This is a hands‐on, content‐focused role for a creative storyteller with a strong eye for visual presentation and a finger on the pulse of social media. Working alongside the Marketing Manager and every department in the hotel, you'll bring our experiences and dining venues to life through engaging content, polished marketing collateral and seamless campaign coordination, all while upholding the elegance of the Sofitel brand and the art of French hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
* Create engaging photo and video content, including Instagram Reels and short‐form video, across hotel experiences, restaurants, events and activations.
* Capture behind‐the‐scenes, lifestyle and experiential content throughout the hotel.
* Plan and schedule social content calendars, and coordinate uploads, captions and stories.
* Monitor social trends and competitor activity, and support influencer stays and content collaborations.
* Design flyers, posters, digital and lift screens, EDMs and collateral in Canva, maintaining visual consistency across all guest‐facing assets.
* Prepare presentations and pitch decks, and coordinate printing, production and distribution of collateral.
* Update website offer pages, menus, imagery and landing pages, keeping all content accurate and on‐brand.
* Prepare internal communications, liaise with departments for updates, and coordinate campaign deliverables and timelines.
* Manage PurchasePlus requests, invoicing and supplier coordination, and support campaign and social performance reporting.
* Support hotel events and activations, including styling, signage and guest‐journey touchpoints, and capture live content.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Canva, with a polished, design‐led approach to visual content.
* A flair for compelling content creation, particularly Instagram Reels and short‐form video that captures attention.
* A confident creative eye, with photography and videography skills and experience steering photoshoots, influencer partnerships and brand activations.
* Exceptional organisation and the agility to juggle multiple priorities without compromising on detail.
* Articulate, persuasive written and verbal communication.
* A background in hospitality, hotels, luxury, lifestyle or F&B marketing, paired with an instinct for Instagram, TikTok and the trends shaping the moment.
* Familiarity with Meta Business Suite and social scheduling tools (desirable).

Full Australian working rights are required for this position with the ability to work an average of 20 - 38 hours per week. Full Time and Part Time employment available.
