As a Leading Hand / Wash Bay Supervisor at Cutprice Car Rentals, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our car rental facilities in Bilinga, QLD and Tweed Heads NSW. Key Responsibilities
* Supervise day‑to‑day operations and support staff in vehicle preparation, detailing, and customer service.
* Assist with cleaning and detailing cars to maintain the fleet's high standard.
* Conduct vehicle inspections, schedule maintenance, and ensure all vehicles are ready for hire.
* Lead, coach, and mentor team members to maintain high standards of service and efficiency.
* Manage rostering, monitor stock levels, and maintain cleaning and operational equipment.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies.
* Drive the courtesy van for customer pick‑ups and drop‑offs when required.
About You
* Must have a valid full driver's license.
* Previous supervisory or team leader experience in car rental, automotive, or hospitality is highly desirable.
* Experience in car detailing or vehicle preparation is a bonus.
* Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
* High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with a positive attitude.
* Must have full working rights in Australia.
