About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Manager to lead our customer service operations and ensure exceptional service delivery across all divisions of the business. This role is central to coordinating client communications, managing the customer service team, and maintaining the high standards that our clients have come to expect. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the scheduling of works, maintaining compliance documentation, and supporting the continuous improvement of our systems and processes.
The main tasks and duties include, but are not limited to:
· Manage the daily operations of the customer service team, ensuring prompt and professional handling of client enquiries, service requests, and maintenance bookings.
· Coordinate and schedule technicians for fire protection, plumbing, pump, and electrical services, ensuring timely delivery of works and compliance with AS1851 and other relevant standards.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial and industrial clients, providing effective communication and resolution of service issues or complaints.
· Oversee and monitor the 24-hour call-out service to ensure client needs are met efficiently and consistently.
· Supervise, train, and support customer service staff to uphold high standards of communication, service delivery, and client satisfaction.
· Maintain accurate records of service activities, client interactions, and compliance documentation in company systems.
· Analyse customer feedback and service performance data to identify areas for improvement and report outcomes to senior management.
· Collaborate with operations, technical, and sales teams to prepare quotations, renew maintenance contracts, and support business development opportunities.
· Implement and improve processes, systems, and procedures to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
· Ensure all customer service activities comply with company policies, Australian Standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications, skills and experience:
· Bachelor degree qualification (or equivalent qualification)
· 2 years of experience working within a similar role.
