Position: Liability Claims Consultant
Team: Claims
Location: Brisbane – Newstead (Hybrid – requires presence at office at least three days per week)

Responsibilities
* Liaise with clients, claimants, and service providers.
* Analyze and assess public liability/professional indemnity claim files, including those under the Personal Injuries Proceedings Act.
* Prepare necessary correspondence and documentation to advance or resolve claims.
* Review and update claim information regularly.
* Coordinate with internal staff and external providers in an administrative capacity via telephone and email.
Qualifications
* Experience managing complex claims end‐to‐end.
* Excellent customer/client service and communication skills.
* Proficient in entering data accurately and efficiently into databases.
* Ability to handle changing priorities and adapt to new priorities.
* Results‐oriented with a professional attitude and client focus.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
What Makes You Stand Out
* Degree in Law (practicing certificate not required).
* Knowledge of Personal Injuries Proceedings Act and Civil Liability Act.
* Willingness to accept responsibility and accountability for decisions.
* Ability to navigate multiple internal systems while adhering to the Privacy Act 2000.
* Self‐starter and self‐motivated.
* Advanced Excel and Word skills.
